Over the past 2 years, Parks Canada, with its dedicated crew, under the guidance of Architect Ian Andrew, have been restoring the golf course to its original old glory. All bunkers have been completely restored to their original shapes and locations. Turf conditions have improved dramatically with a major tree removal program and the green sites are back to the original size and shape. Golf Digest (Feb 2013) ranks Cape Breton Highlands Links as # 7 in the Top 30 Best in Canada.
