The picturesque River Oaks course is the realization of Merlin Kerr's dream to construct a course compatible with the environment and to provide a facility in keeping with the peacefulness and serenity of the Musquodoboit Valley. River Oaks is a 27-hole full service facility for the green fee player, with accommodations and golf packages available on site. The 18-hole course layout features balanced front and back nines, including two par 3's, six par 4's and one par 5.

River Oaks South is located across from the 18-hole course with a regulation 9-hole layout. The rolling hills and scenic terrain provide a challenge to any golfer. The South course plays as a par 36, ranging from 2,543 yards (front tees) to 3,113 yards (back tees), giving the players a variety to play 18 holes.
