Northeast Golf Region

The northeast golf region offers visitors a diverse array of adventures both on and off the course, from warm salt-water beaches, crisp local wines, dramatic landscapes and living history experiences. Three scenic travelways make up the northeast golf region - the Glooscap Trail; the Sunrise Trail; and the Marine Drive.

The surging tides of the Bay of Fundy reveal hundred-million-year-old fossils and semi-precious gems lodged in the Triassic cliffs of the Glooscap Trail. Discover this ancient landscape then relax by savouring local plump blueberries, crisp wines and rich seafood.

Warm salt-water beaches and quaint Scottish communities are the order of the day when touring the Sunrise Trail. In addition to the many Scottish festivals and highland games, there are many local businesses worth touring, such as vineyards and professional artisans.

Along the Marine Drive, visit a restored 18th-century fishing village at Fisherman’s Cove and a 19th-century lumbering and ship-building town at Sherbrooke Village. Angle in the Liscombe River; hike Taylor Head National Park; and kayak through salt-marshes that teem with wildlife.
