The Lakes Golf Club (Opening in 2009)

The newest addition to Cape Breton Island’s golf experience, The Lakes Golf Club is scheduled to open in the summer of 2009. This Graham Cooke-designed course will be a world-class golf course, capitalizing on the beautiful landscapes and outstanding views of the Bras d’Or Lakes.
Coupled with Cape Breton’s existing courses, The Lakes will wrap up Cape Breton Island as an international golf destination. Located 10 minutes from Rita’s Tearoom and 20 minutes from Sydney, The Lakes is situated centrally within one of the world’s most attractive tourist destinations.
